Kathina Robe offering Ceremony 2009
The Hermitage will hold the Kathina Robes And Daily Requisites Offering Ceremony on the 11 October 2009 for all Sangha
members who have spent the vassa at the Hermitage as well as invited Sangha members.

筹建 ‘仙人堕处’禅院 Isipatana Hermitage Building Fund
一夜贤者禅院于最近由善信捐献了一块十二英亩的地段位于柔佛州哥打丁宜的南亚港 (Telok Sengat) 作为推广佛法及禅修道场。 此地段沿着河岸, 可以瞭望对岸的 ‘贡贡村’ 码头。 环境优美寕静, 是个适合密集禅修的地点。
禅院计劃於此设立一所禅院让僧众静修, 取名为 ‘仙人堕处’ 禅院, ‘Isipatana Hermitage’。 ‘Isi’ 译为 ‘仙人’, ‘Patana’ 译为 ‘落下处’, 是佛陀在印度初转法轮的地方。 佛陀在 ‘仙人堕处’ 林里的鹿野苑为五比丘说法。 禅院为此禅修道场取此吉祥名称, 除了纪念佛陀初转法轮这殊胜的地方, 也希望此新禅院能延续佛陀的教法, 发挥其功能让佛法广为实行及流传。
‘仙人堕处’ 禅院将于雨安居后邀请僧众过去居住。 为此, 禅院首先筹建一些基本设施, 包括僧众尞房,食堂及厨房。
鉴于此, 希望大家随喜布施, 一同分享此殊胜功德!
